MyCert is an online portal for companies contracting with Minnesota government agencies, metropolitan agencies, and the University of Minnesota to apply for Workforce and Equal Pay Certificates and submit regular reports.
The Minnesota Department of Human Rights (MDHR) is responsible for enforcing the Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA), Minnesota Statute § 363A. As part of its duties under the MHRA, MDHR is tasked with certifying and monitoring companies doing business with Minnesota state agencies, metropolitan agencies, and the University of Minnesota to ensure workplace are free from discrimination. Companies subject to certificate requirements under the MHRA must obtain a Workforce Certificate and, if applicable, Equal Pay Certificate from MDHR.
